young designers get to turn colorful paper, ribbons, beads, sequins,
and jewels into glamorous fashions and accessories. But with Paper Fashions Fancy,
we designed an all-new set of patterned and colored papers — some with
glitter, foil, and velvety black flocking — and the emphasis is on
combining shapes to make elaborate, fancy couture: gowns,
red-carpet-ready ensembles, prom-pretty frocks, and more. The possible
combinations of papers, stencil shapes, and embellishments are
